Established in 1998, Pacific Coast Builders, a dba of Chewning Industries, is a family-owned General Contractor specializing in the construction of restaurants throughout California.

This enterprise began twenty-five years ago after the owners Jamie and Diana Chewning had both spent more than a decade working in construction, honing their skills as Superintendents, Project Managers, and Purchasing and Contract Administration Directors for industry giants such as Denny’s, Spartan Food Systems, and Ralphs Grocery. Initially focusing on large-scale remodels, Pacific Coast Builders has expanded its portfolio to encompass the construction of numerous new restaurants, as well as hundreds of remodels and tenant improvements.

Our collaborative approach extends to corporate clients, franchisees, and construction management firms, underpinned by decades-long relationships with trusted subcontractors and vendors, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and timely project completion.
